An inclusive counselling practice serving children of all ages and abilities and their families. I strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere fostering creativity and healing. I am an experienced and trained child mental-health therapist and child behaviour/development consultant who has focused a career on serving children ages 2-19 and their families. I have unique experience supporting the mental wellness of children/youth with complex disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, developmental delay/learning disabilities, and other conditions.  An integral part of my work involves consultation and offering practical strategies and suggestions to families and other environments such as school or childcare, in order to increase overall health and functioning. I offer support and treatment for the following:
  • Difficulties coping with strong emotions and keeping mind and body calm (sometimes called emotional or self-regulation).
  • Anxiety/worries
  • Sad feelings/mood difficulties
  • Grief, loss, bereavement
  • Family upheaval (divorce, foster care, adoption)
  • Difficult life experiences/trauma (mental illness, abuse, medical issues, hospitalization)
  • Social and peer challenges
  • Difficulty coping with one's own disability or illness or that of a family member (including therapy for siblings of children with disabilities)
